Trudy is Tortie of the Week

Our Tortie of the Week is Trudy, who lives with her owner Dorothy in Illinois.

Curtis took her in about 10 years ago when his friend was no longer able to look after her, and she has been an integral part of the household since then.

Trudy is seven years old and is full of tortitude! She may look sweet and innocent in this picture, but this girl is determind to get what she wants and when she wants it!

For whatever she wants from Dorothy, she taps her on the arm, sometimes with an added brief meow.

Her goal in life seems to be to jump to the highest place in the condo, particularly to the top of the refrigerator and to the top of the bookcase near the ceiling.

She is also an expert at opening almost all of the kitchen and bathroom cabinets to check them for any changes in contents and to remove an item she doesn’t think belongs in the cabinet.

Trudy is an imp, but a very delightful, affectionate and friendly imp.
