Tara is Tortie of the Week

She is named after Kings

Tara is Tortie of the Week

Our Tortie of the Week is Tara, who lives with her owner Patricia in Bournemouth, UK

Tara

Patricia adopted her in January 2023 soon after her other cat, Bonnie left her to wait on the Rainbow Bridge.

Tara was 10 months old when she adopted her, and Patricia was her third ‘owner’. A bad habit which made her unpopular was peeing on the duvet, but she doesn’t do that now.

She’s a wonderfully clean kitty who uses her litter box only when it is raining heavily. There has been a lot of rain in the UK so far this year, she she must have had to stay inside very often. Otherwise she uses the garden.

Fascinating fact about Tara - she is named after Tara where the Kings of Leinster (Ireland) used to sit when Ireland had a king for each province.

She’s a very happy freedom loving cat who lives her home close to Bournemouth.

Thanks to Patricia for sharing these details of Tara, and check out our X, Facebook and Instagram pages for more tortie fun. You can also check out tortie videos on our You Tube channel.

Look out for the next Tortie of the Week next week!
