Sookie is Tortie of the Week

Our Tortie of the Week is Sookie, who lives with her owner Pam in Kalispell, Montana.

Sookie

Sookie is named after a favorite character in the series True Blood, which Pam was watching when she adopted her. Pam had lost her 17 year old tuxedo cat one year earlier and her 14 year old yellow lab that same year, so you could say they rescued each other.

When she was adopted from the rescue center, Sookie was in a cage with ten other rescues but Pam chose her and her cute little split face immediately.

Now, Sookie spends most of the day watching critters from the safety of her home. She also loves stealing Pam’s balls of yarn in the middle of the night and digging through her hair ties for a particular scrunchie!

Thanks to Pam for sharing details of Sookie and look out for her picture on our X, Facebook and Instagram pages. You can also check out tortie videos on our You Tube channel.

Look out for the next Tortie of the Week next week!
