Rascal is Tortie of the Week

Tortie of the Week is Rascal, a very cheeky Tortie Cat who lives with her owner Marilyn in the San Francisco East Bay area.

Rascal was posted as a “found cat” in May 2021 in the next town to Marilyn on Next Door, and when no one claimed her that’s when Marilyn adopted her. The vet thought she was between 1 and 3 years old then.

Rascal got her name as the first night she was there, she hopped on the kitchen counter and ate through a sandwich bag to get to the corn muffin inside.

Then the next night, she hopped into the kitchen sink, removed the black rubber gasket over the garbage disposal and brought it to Marilyn int the bedroom!

Rascal still has plenty of tortitude, but she also loves her afternoon nap on the bed or on the heat register on the floor.
