Precious is Tortie of the Week

Our Tortie of the Week is Precious, who lives with her owner Paula and several other cats.

Precious is 11 years old but acts as though she’s not a day over 1! She’s an indoor tortie but the other two Paula has don’t want to live indoors so they enjoy the yard.

Precious is a talker. She talks, not meows, but talks in her little ‘hmmm’ voice and really is the most docile tortie Paula has ever had.

No bad habits except one. Every night she sleeps next to Paula on her own pillow, but if she wants out during the night she does into the litter box and scratches till she wakes her up.

Sometimes Paula ignores her but the scratching gets louder and louder till there’s nothing she can do but open the door for her.

She proceeds to inspect the house then right back to her pillow! It’s sweet but drives Paula catsy! Precious plays well with Paula’s 7 other indoor kitties and even grooms them. She’s truly a sweetheart.
