Pig is our Tortie of the Week
She was rescued and now lives with Lulu!

Pig is Tortie of the Week
Our Tortie of the Week is Pig, who lives with her owner Victoria in Kings County, Seattle area.

Pig
Pig came into Victoria’s home when she responded to a Facebook post about a cat who was not doing well and needed re-homing.
Pig was emaciated, hairless on her back half and lived on top of the lizard cage at her home because of her anxiety of the dogs and toddlers there.
When Victoria met Pig, she could not believe her eyes! She looked like a kitten in size and was so scared!
She was 6 years old then, the vet said she was OK health wise so she was isolated in the spare room for a month so she could smell her other resident cat under the door.
It took her 4 months to come out, and 2 years for Victoria to hear her purr and play with a toy!
Her two cats barely tolerate each other and it’s mainly Pig’s jealousy. She is 10 years old now and Lulu is 9, but Lulu is twice as big!
Thanks to Victoria for sharing these details of Pig, and look out for her picture on our X, Facebook and Instagram pages. You can also check out tortie videos on our You Tube channel.
Look out for the next Tortie of the Week next week!
