Mousey is Tortie of the Week
She gives headbutts and can be fierce!

Mousey is Tortie of the Week
Our first Tortie of the Week for May is Mousey who is a beautiful tortie that lives with her owner Brenda.

Mousey
Brenda was volunteering at a local cat rescue, she normally just transports but one day she was asked if she could foster several cats and kittens from a Rio Grand Valley shelter.
Among these kittens was Mousey who was an itty bitty tortie furball and she spent the first few days in the corner of the catio. Brenda brought her into the house where she could watch her and she slept on her chest.

More about Mousey
Mousey was not in a very good way so Brenda took her to the vets where she spent several days.
She is now (several years later), a wonderful healthy tortie with a beautifully colored coat. She is a sort of a loner as she doesn’t really associate with other kitties.
She is a small cat (as torties tend to be) but she has tortitude and she can be fierce when she needs to defend herself. She loves to give headbutts and she still sleeps on Brenda’s chest!
Thanks for Brenda for sharing these details of Mousey. It is great to see she is now a healthy and happy tortie! Look out for her pictures on our X, Facebook and Instagram pages. You can also check out tortie videos on our You Tube channel.
Look out for the next Tortie of the Week next week!
