Kitty Soft Paws is Tortie of the Week

Our Tortie of the Week is the fantastically named Kitty Soft Paws, who lives with her owners Bill and Tam in Viroqua, WI.

Kitty Soft Paws

Kitty was named after Puss in Boots’ girlfriend by Taylor, who is Bill and Tami’s daughter who is now in college (did you see our newsletter last week about tortoiseshell cat names?

She was the smallest of the litter so was chosen to come into the house because her siblings constantly stole her food. Kibble and her catch!

Kitty does not like people and will hide when they have company. But with the family, she is out and showing her beautiful belly. Because of that, Tami calls her Fancy Pants!

More about Kitty Soft Paws

The first seven years she was with the family, they didn’t hear a peep out of her, only purring. But then they introduced a long haired barn cat into the house, and Kitty was not happy! That’s when they learned she knows how to meow, growl and hiss!

Kitty is now 12 years old and she definitely has tortitude! She likes to help Tami do puzzles - she is perfectly happy laying in the box or on the puzzle, but if you try and get a piece from the box or get under her, she will snap!

Thanks to Bill and for sharing details of Kitty Soft Paws and look out for her picture on our X, Facebook and Instagram pages. You can also check out tortie videos on our You Tube channel.

If you would like your tortie cat to be featured here, then please email us at [email protected] with 200-250 words about your tortie, some funny tortitude stories and some images. If you have images for You Tube that would be amazing!

Look out for the next Tortie of the Week next week!
