Our Tortie of the Week is Edith, aka Edie Marie who lives with her owner Lacey in Southern Minnesota.

Edie is about 2 years old and is an absolute delight to have around. Lacey likes to call Edie her little Gargoyle, because one of her favorite things to do is to perch on a shelf and watch over everyone (as shown above).
Edie is obsesses with playing fetch - ball is life for this girl! If you head down to the basement to do laundry, you’d better have one of her pompon balls, or she’ll let you know with her adorable little protests!

They live right on the border with Iowa and Edie shares her home with three siblings: Millie (her cat sister, though technically her aunt), and two dog siblings - Cannon, a poodle mix, and Nyx, a German Shepherd.
When Edie was a baby, she would suckle on Nyx, and Nyx was patient enough to let her. Even now, Edie sometimes tries, although Nyx isn’t quite as tolerant these days. It’s just one of the many quirks that make her so endearing. Sounds like tortitude to us!
