Daffy is Tortie of the Week

Daffy is our Tortie of the Week, who allows Hal & Willi to live with her in HER 27th floor condo.

Daffy was born in a tire…in a tire shop. She has 4 non-Tortie brothers, and she was clearly the Alpha of the group! She came home with Hal & Willi at 6 weeks old and will be 7 years old in April.

She was greasy and flea-infested when she came home. The water was grey after they washed her in the sink…she tolerated the bath surprisingly well. She was immediately into everything and still is.

Daffy is a terrific jumper, both vertically and horiztonally. There is no way to keep her out of or off of anything. If there’s a ladder in the vicinity, she’s on top of it, often on her hind legs, battling at dust bunnies.

She’s friendly with people, tolerates dogs and does not care for cats. She likes to sleep with or on them at night………sometimes making it difficult for Hal but he doesn’t have the heart to disturb her.

Daffy is a constant delight, and full of tortie-tude!
