Double Tortie of the Week

This week we have another double tortie of the week - Aviendha and Min who are twins and live with their owner Katrina.

Katrina decided that she could not bear to separate them when she was looking for a new kitten, they are from the same litter and have never been apart.

They were born on her anniversary with her husband, so when her friend said they were old enough, they absolutely had to come home with them. Warning: the extra fluff comes with extra tortitude!

Although born minutes apart, these two are very different. While they joke that they share a single brain cell (Min usually has it), that doesn’t stop them from finding new ways to get into trouble.

At about a year and a half old, they spend their days alternating between wreaking havoc, chasing around their 5-year old (human) sister, and napping.

Min typically has a permanent RBF that shows us she’s in tune with her black cat heritage. Shy, evasive, and really good at hiding, she only wants pets at approximately 3am, and if she is denied, fingers get nibbled. She rarely meows, and instead purr-squeaks, which has earned her the name Minnie Mouse.

Aviendha, Avi for short, they are quite certain was a chocolate lab in her previous life. Between her eagerness for attention, love of water, extra-loud meows for attention, and they way she pants when she plays too hard, she’s extra loyal and snuggly.
